Thank you for your interest in becoming a member of the Build Local Alliance! We are a diverse group of businesses that strive to promote and sell local, responsibly managed wood products. All businesses are located within the geographic boundary you see in the map to the right.
The Build Local Alliance offers two types of memberships:
- Business Members
Businesses that strive to promote and sell local, responsibly managed wood products. - Supporting Members
Nonprofit organizations, represent businesses that do not qualify as a business member, and members of the general public.
Benefits
There are many benefits to membership with the BLA, including:
Website - Free listing of your company's contact information on the BLA website, ith a link back to your website. List your products and services and connect with potential buyers.
Events - Invitations to our seasonal events, which offer you the opportunity to meet local wood producers and users and learn more about the species available in our woodshed. Stay up-to-date on trends in the wood and building markets and learn how to raise the bar and stay ahead of others in your field!
Project Profiles - We would love to share your work with our members and readers in an upcoming newsletter and on our website! If you've made use of BLA-sourced wood, be sure to send us your photos and we'll showcase it for you.
Sponsorship - Support the BLA! We're an all-volunteer organization with no annual dues, so your donations are critical to our growth. Click here to find out how to support our work.
Influencing Positive Change - Your participation in the BLA is critical to establishing a local market for regionally-grown wood. You can have a hand in developing a healthy local economy while preserving our region's tradition of forestry.
