I have been milling 4/4, 5/4, 8/4 alder and maple random lengths and widths. Mature alder stands allow me to cut particularly wide boards up to 20”. I have an inventory of patterned maple and alder (solid red heart). I have the lumber kiln dried locally. I am currently thinning doug fir poles and second growth and can custom cut dimensional lumber. Also have a supply of hand peeled poles.


I have been impressed by the qualities of Sagrada Cascara. It's an impossible tree to manage and mill because it has such a short trunk but the wood is particularly hard, has tonal qualities and unusual hues of pink and blue. I have made some into exceptional flooring and would like to find a specialty market for it.
