The Build Local Alliance hosts three events annually: Spring, Summer, and Fall.
Alliance members and other interested parties gather to learn about forestry in our region, the species that grow locally and what they are best used for, and how the wood is being used in green building projects, furniture, and other applications by builders and artisans in our community.

2012 Spring Showcase
Thanks to our members, supporters, sponsors and speakers for joining us
at our Spring Showcase at Lucky Labrador Beer Hall on Tuesday April 17th. Our Showcase featured the beautiful Big Leaf Maple! The highlights included presentations by Michael Ahr - Forest Conservationist, West Multnomah Soil and Water Conservation District, Rod Jacobs - Owner and Sawyer, Unique Woods, Robert Wood- Certified Master Builder, Mountainwood Homes and a maple syrup tasting for all attendees!
